Yes. Research shows that well-structured, interactive online lessons are just as effective as in-person tutoring. Many learners also enjoy the flexibility and ease of learning from home.

Just a stable internet connection and a device with a camera and microphone. I’ll provide all the learning materials you need.

I hold a BSc (Hons) in German with Japanese, have studied Japanese to JLPT N1, and hold a TESOL qualification. I also have a BA (Hons), a Master’s with distinction, and a PhD, through which I developed a deep understanding of contemporary Japanese society and the cultural contexts that shape language use. I’ve been teaching since 2011, supporting learners from GCSE and A level through to university and adult study, and having lived in Japan for seven years and in Germany for one, I bring both strong academic expertise and genuine cultural insight to every lesson.
Yes — I’m very happy to teach small groups of friends or family members who’d like to learn together. If that sounds appealing, just get in touch and we can explore the options.
Prices vary depending on the type and length of lesson. If you drop me a message or email, I’ll gladly talk you through the options.
Simply drop me an email at info@Languages4Life.co.uk or click the “Book a Lesson” button. I’ll respond promptly with available times. I work with learners around the world — including the UK, Europe, Japan, and Australia — so scheduling across time zones is no problem at all.
I understand that unexpected situations can crop up from time to time. I’ll always do my best to find another suitable time. If you can, please give at least 24 hours’ notice.
