Learn Japanese with Confidence

My Japanese Teaching Journey

Learning Japanese with me means learning from someone who has lived and worked in Japan for seven years, gained fluency through real immersion, and developed a deep appreciation for the subtleties of Japanese culture.

Courses for Every Level

I teach Japanese from beginner level through to advanced study. For complete beginners, I offer a specially designed course ideal for first-time visitors to Japan. It introduces essential travel language alongside key cultural guidance, helping learners feel confident and well prepared before they go.

Travel essentials

For more advanced learners, I provide structured support in reading and writing. I own a dedicated website for learning hiragana, katakana, and kanji — originally created by one of my students — which offers a clear and accessible way to build literacy skills at your own pace.

Helping You Succeed

I specialise in helping learners build confidence, whether you are starting from the very beginning, preparing for travel or business, or aiming for top grades at GCSE, A level, or university finals.

Helping you succeed

My students consistently make strong progress because lessons are tailored, supportive, and grounded in real-world Japanese.
